lab exercise: focus image three

Image
This image is an experiment of trying out the limitations of auto-focus. This can be a limitation as the focus point can have more than one object but at different distances from the camera which can cause issues. I did had a few difficulties in capturing this image however it only take a few minutes to get the desired image.

lab exercise: focus image two

Image
This image was an experiment the limitations of auto focus I tried to see if I could capture to no contrast between the subject and the metal pole infant of her. this proved more challenging to achieve than I expected.

lab exercise : focus image one

Image
The above image is a close-up shot of a rain drops on a flower this is image was captured by getting close to the subject in this case the flower and using auto focus I captured a clear focus on the flowers and the rain drops on the flowers while leaving the background obscured and out of focus.

Exercise lab

The image above is an example of Rhythm. The rhythm comes from the repetition of the metal pillars repeating the same form and pattern. This image works well because it draws the viewers gaze to the back of the image.

Composition Exercise Lab: Dominance

Image
The above is an example of Dominance. The dominant object inn this image is the pink petals this is clear as the there is a flower in the background that is out of focus. This shows the dominance of the pink petals.

Composition Exercise lab : Horizontal lines

Image
The above photograph is an example of the compositional design element: horizontal lines. The horizontal lines that appear in this photograph comes from the bench. This works well because each line can be easily noted and there are multiple which creates a rhythm or pattern.

Composition Exercise lab: Leading Lines

Image
The above photo is an example of the compositional design element Leading Lines. More specifically a curved line which starts in the lower left foreground and traveling towards the three figures in the centre. I think this is a good example as it brings the viewers eyes to the three figures in the centre of the photo.
